Tell us the model, not the catalogue.
A determination is made about one specific piece of equipment. Sending a product line gets a vague answer; sending a model designation gets a useful one.
Useful to include: the model designation, the technical sheet or datasheet, rated pressure and voltage where they apply, whether the equipment contains any radio transmitter, and what the machine is used for and by whom. If a pressure vessel, compressor tank or boiler is part of it, say so, because that is frequently the whole answer.
If the question runs the other way, about buying abroad or selling abroad, tell us the product, the country on the other side, and roughly what the operation is worth in dollars. The value matters, because the Brazilian side carries a ceiling per period.

What happens after you write
We read what you sent and tell you, usually the same day, whether there is a compulsory certification question at all. That costs nothing.
If there is, we propose a scope and a fixed price for the written determination before any work starts.
You get the opinion with its citations, including whatever we could not determine, stated as an open question.
